Patrick started his new job today too. He is working at Sensory Sweep in the music department.

Chrissy's first day of school was today. We took her to Provo and left her there at her apartment. Then she was on her way to her nine o'clock class at BYU.

Staying at the Bush's

Thank you Margaret and Rob for letting us stay with you. We had a great time. Thanks for letting Chooie stay at your house too. This is Patrick playing his guitar for Chrissy at the Bush's.

Visiting Paul and Harmony

We went to Paul and Harmony's apartment one night and played games. We met their pets. Here is a picture of Simon but the other cat (Smokey) did not want to be photographed.

Jacob and Nadine came to help us move Chrissy into her apartment. Mostly Jacob just wanted to touch everything but we liked having him there with us.

Chrissy moved into her apartment the same day we got to Utah. Here is a picture of her room. Now it looks better that this because she unpacked all her stuff.

Our trip to Utah August and September

We visited Don, Nadine and Jacob. We got some cute pictures of Jacob but he was so busy we didn't get a lot of pictures. He liked to play with the pump for the air mattresses.

Visit to Utah

We left to go out to Utah on August 27. It was a Monday. We arrived in Utah on Wednesday after that Monday. We stopped to see Claron but he wasn't home. It was his birthday so he was out for a birthday lunch. We came back to see him later that day. On the way to Utah we saw some amazing sights on I 80. Here is the tree in the rock in Wyoming. In the picture with the fantastic tree are Don the elder, Chrissy and Patrick.

Saturday Morning in American Fork

We are getting ready to leave. Don,Nadine and Jacob are leaving for Colorado. We are going to go and visit the Bush family. We will be staying there a few days. This morning we are going to go to help Chrissy get her apartment ready and buy her books. She will be starting school on Tuesday. Patrick will be starting his new job on Tuesday too. Good luck to both of you! We will be watching Chooie for a few days while Don E is out of town. That is going to be fun.

Happy Birthday Nadine. I hope you had a nice time on your birthday yesterday. We will be seeing you soon and maybe we can have a belated birthday party for you. We hope you are having fun at the lake. This is a picture of Jacob last year at Lake Tahoe.

Chrissy will be leaving for school soon

It is only a few more days and Chrissy will be on her own at college. Lots to do to get ready in a few days. We are leaving on the 25th early.

Marianne and Steve are engaged

Chrissy returns today

Chrissy went to youth conference very early (2:45 a.m.) Thursday morning. We sure do miss her. I guess this is just a hint of how it will be like with no children at home. I think we will have to do a lot of adjusting to no children at home when she leaves in August. :(

Don's garden one week later

The flower garden is growing. We have about ten plants blooming now.

Second Day of Summer

Marianne just got back from her trip to Rome, France,Spain and the Mediterranean. She will send pictures soon. Don, Nadine, Jacob and Margo will be coming next month to visit. They will be flying in the 16th and leaving the 25th. We can hardly wait for them to come and visit. The weather here is great. I love the summer.

Visiting Don,Nadine and Jacob

I stayed with Don and Nadine and Jacob while I was in Utah. It was fun seeing how big Jacob had grown and everything he could do. He liked to hide in his cupboard.

Paul and Harmony at the temple

I went to Utah in May and on May 17th Paul and Harmony were sealed in the Mt. Timpanogas temple.

Chrissy and Kyle graduated on June 8, 2007. Here she is with Patrick.

Dad's flower garden

This is our flower garden. Don worked most of the day on Saturday cleaning out the garden and planting the dahlias. It was about 85 degrees and humid.
